SCOPING In The Field (SITF)
Cost $200.00
This two(2) day course will simulate the claims handling process from
beginning to end and prepare you for handling claims in the field. This
class does not require the student to have an adjuster license.
The course material covers everything from what tools are needed in the field
to submitting your estimate.
You will learn what to expect once you are deployed, how to stay organized
and navigate in the field.
There will be 1 day of classroom instruction and 1 day of field inspections if the weather will
permit.
You will be given a loss report and then required to:
(1) Contact the insured to schedule an appointment for inspection
(2) Meet with insured at the scheduled time to perform inspection
(3) Complete and turn in an estimate for the damages found during your
inspection
On your field inspection day, you will learn techniques and procedures at one
of our on-site properties (when available) .
You will inspect Interior and exterior damages.
The field inspection day will allow students to gain a live feel for what an
adjuster really does.
This course is definitely a must-have for the new adjuster and will be very
valuable to the seasoned adjuster needing a refresher.

Refund Policy
Classes must be purchased together to receive the discounted price. However,
the classes do not have to be taken together. You have one year from the date
you pay for the class to take it or ask for a refund.
100% refund for all classes not attended.
If you purchase multiple classes at a discounted price, you will be charged the
full price(non-discounted) price for all classes attended and refunded the
difference on the classes not attended.
